AM I the only one that feels that "Next Gen" is more like "Less Gen" in terms of game content?
Lame, this gen sucks for home consoles IMO. Its all about the PSP and DS this gen, which is sad.

O god, multu player has been the worst part this generation, when a title has MP, I usally stay away because the Single Player mode is always lame when they tack on MP.
Not every game needs generic death matches tacked on
I am curious to see the 360 numbers next week with the launch of Tales of Vesperia.
I hear the PS3 will get its own version of a Tales of game and not a port.
I would go NUTZ if they made a new Battletoads game. It would be PERFECT as a 3d Action/Adventure title with 3 player Co op single screen.

It seems like the 360 is gaining in Japan while the PS3 is falling. It also seems like Sony and MS swiped stratagies this gen.
Sony is pretty much giving MS to Japan on a silver platter, which is a shame because Sony can easily sell 50K PS3's a week in that region with some more Japanese support (See PSP). I agree, I hate the UE3 engine, Capcoms engie is sooooo much better, when Lost Planet came out I thought to my self "Gears of What?" DMC4 also impressed thw hell outta me.
I honestly HATE MMO's and anything online. Give me some epic story driven games, if this is the route Sony is going than I will be playing a never ending backlog of classic titles
Westren devs are awful, they do not deserve to be on any list. The japanese are way superior and have always been
Sony has totally lost it this gen, its like they are even trying to lose Japan when they can easily do 50K a week with the right software (Lost Oddessey, Blue Dragon, Tals of Vesperia, Star Ocean etc). Those are the games I want, not FPS like Killzone (which looks ugly as hell) and MAG which is more like MEH..
Sony has to get it together fast because I am tired of waiting for RPG's and Japanese centric games. Hell the system is region free and there is STILL nothing to even import....

If its a FPS or an Online MP games than Sony can go to HFIL. I want some single player epic adventure games like a New Team ICO game, an RPG or anything unique like Patapon on PS3.

What an awful showing with ZERO Japanese games and RPG's. I am happy I have a 360 as well and I feel totally jipped by Sony this gen. MMO's? o God they look awful.

Why is it that the portable consoles this gen get the best games? It seems like every week something awesome is announced for the PSP or DS, while the home consoles are full of FPS, casual music/Wii sport knock offs and boring online generic online games.
Why cant Parasite Eve 3 be on PS3? why cant they make a NEW console Chrono Trigger? why no Suikoden for Wii or 360? no Contra 4 on PSN or XBLA? where is my 2D Castlevania? on DS!!! LAME.
